Even though we had to hold our BioSAXS workshop virtually this year, it turned out to be one of our best ever. We had more 70 participants over the two day workshop, zooming in from all over the US and parts of Europe! The latest advances in SAXS studies on biological systems were discussed, along with updates on current developments of software for SAXS analysis. The afternoon of the second day of the workshop was dedicated to practical “hands-on” SAXS analysis. We were fortunate to have some impressive speakers: Rob Rambo (Diamond Light Source, UK), Jesse Hopkins (APS), Melissa Graewert (Petra III, Germany), Chris Brosey (MD Anderson) and our very own Greg Hura and Michal Hammel from SIBYLS. We will be holding more workshops in the coming year, so stay tuned!
